What do you interpret from this picture. It was drawn by my little brother on the wall near the door.He elucidateds that it was drawn to show the parents, where he has hidden the key.  Usually when we go out , we use to hide the key in the electric meter box which stands right above the door . However,  on that particular day he explained that he noticed some peoplewho actually saw him while taking out the key. So after his lunch , he changed the hiding palce and placed it inside a small jug. He could not remember the spelling of a key so drew a picture of key and then a jug, which he wrote beneath as Juk. .Haha it was very wise idea of him to put his concern and alertness into picture. .

Today i was watching the movie Phurba Thinley,  starring all-time superstar comedian phurba Thinley.  It was full of fun and entertainment.  We were dissolved into a hysteric laughter .  One particular event which arrested my attention was the love mantra. It was really eyeopening act to me. Imagine a verse which  when chanted for many times and working it's magic  on an edible object. Subsequently when eaten by the person we love , can fall in love unconditionally.   So this was the basic principle.  If only it is true then I have no reluctance to by heart this mantras for any number of  times. Especially for a lovelorn fellow , it will be a huge blessing and tactics to win someone's heart.   I have heard similar stories from my parent's and the older people. It's time Bhutan should be proactive towards waste management.

We are fortunate to embrace the happiness and comfort  brought about by the rapid developmental activities, however at the same time we cannot ignore the deleterious  impact  of such activities. Various problem  evolve due to reckless mining and road infrastructures. By and large it's the the  problem of waste that demands more attention. Massive amount of garbage from individual  household, industries  at large, municipal waste etc wreaks havoc in the environment.  The garbage  includes  all plastics, diused metal, infrastructure debris, etc.which are categorised under non biodegradable. Where as waste from kitchen, food processing  industries, etc falls under biodegradable category.  Either of any two have deleterious  affect  on our environment.  Enormous amount of waste are produced  from the municipality and big towns like thimphu  ,phuntsholing etc . Diwali

Maya lived in an old hut all by herself.  Her only child passed away in a fatal accident one year back. Today is a  Diwali , she has to dispel the darkness with anything available. Few candles were lit up and placed it in the front of her hut.   She watched and listened as the village enlivened itself with songs and parties.  The night was starry and the air was frosty. Dilwali came once in a while,  She knew it very well. Families came together, rejoiced with songs and laughter.  Meals would be grant and delicious.  Maya, checked her kitchen and found only a handful of rice flour.  She got down to make few pieces of shalroti for her dinner. Slowly few group of boys gathered outside singing and expecting her appearance. They sang verses of prayers and wished for her good health,  she needed to drop some money to them.
